Research Assistant - VIEW THE PORTFOLIO

  • Conducted interviews with participants in a cognitive test meant to gather data about improving peer-to-peer support platforms dedicated to adolescent and young adults with cancer (AYAs);

  • Created a brief sent to advocacy groups about data gathered on peer-to-peer support platforms dedicated to AYAs;

  • Transcribed, polished, and de-identified interviews conducted by the research team;

  • Coded interview transcripts with useful keywords for the purpose of future analysis.


Marketing Intern - VIEW THE PORTFOLIO

  • Redesigned the Nourish website, which will be going live in January 2021;

  • Create a branded experience for a live webinar event, “The State of Nourish”;

  • Produced testimonial videos for social media platforms through Adobe Premiere;

  • Reinvigorated social media accounts with unique, branded content designed on Adobe Illustrator;

  • Drafted and executed marketing campaigns for GivingTuesday and end of year fundraising;

  • Engineered logos, graphics, and programs for the IDB using the Adobe Creative Cloud;

  • Finalized organizational tasks, paperwork, and updates to IDB website in relation to ongoing educational programs;

  • Provided technical prowess to IDB staff in creation of documents, images, and videos.


Secretary-General of MUNCH XX - VIEW THE PORTFOLIO

  • Directed a 10-person Secretariat to execute the operations/logistics of MUNCH;

  • Operated with a budget of $15,000+ to host an event on the UNC-Chapel Hill Campus;

  • Volunteered 20+ hours a week on planning, managing, and executing conference details;

  • Coordinated with local hotels and businesses to promote the conference;

  • Designed original graphics for conference documents.

Chief of Staff of UNCMUNC XI (2019)

  • Managed 100+ staff members and train them for their roles leading up to the conference;

  • Produced creative content, logos, background guides, etc. using Adobe InDesign and Illustrator;

  • Recruited staffers to increase the efficiency of communication between delegates and UNCMUNC during the committee sessions;

  • Collaborated with a Secretariat of seven members to organize and execute the 4-day conference.

Design Editor of The Internationalist: Undergraduate Journal of Foreign Affairs (August 2019 – December 2020)

  • Created the cover for Volume IV-Fall 2019, Volume IV-Spring 2020, and Volume V-Fall 2020 editions of the journal;

  • Provided design consultation to the design team.

Executive Editor of The Internationalist (Aug 2018 – May 2019)

  • Promoted the journal and recruited qualified undergraduate students to contribute their research

  • Collaborated with other staff members and writers to edit papers before publication

  • Created the layout for the first reboot edition, published in April 2019.
